Jeff Nichols, Partner and Energy Practice Group Co-Chair at Haynes Boone will discuss asset-based securitizations that are playing a larger role particularly in oil and gas deals. Joining us from our Houston office, Jeff has more than 25 years of experience representing a variety of clients in the energy and finance industries with secured and unsecured credit facilities, project finance and other structured energy transactions. Haynes Boone has worked on 17 oil and gas securitization transactions since 2019.

Paul Smith, Chief Risk Officer at Mobius Risk Group will discuss hedging related to asset-backed securitizations. He works with and on the Business Development team at Mobius Risk Group to ensure that upstream and downstream management teams understand the power and value of having access to real-time data, information, and actionable intelligence when making the most important commercial decisions in the energy space.
